Well, even though it isn't officially over until Monday, I think it's safe to say that I have survived another busy season. Busy season number three...and probably the best one yet for me. Not that it's perfect, but I'm still coming out of this busy season able to say that I love my new job. And I'm about to love it even more now that it will soon be an 8 to 5 kind of gig.

So, from what I hear, Monday will involve a little bit of work and a lot of celebrating. The big end of tax season party is on Monday night. It officially starts at 6. But apparently the office will shut down around 4 and everyone will head on over to the bar where the party's at and start up the tab. That's right, free drinks all night long. And games. I'm not a big drinker myself, but I'm sure I'll have fun watching a bunch of my coworkers get wasted. And I'll enjoy a drink or two on the firm.

And then Tuesday. Glorious Tuesday. The office is closed. And I plan to sleep in. I swear that it's been months since I got to sleep in. And it has been painful. So yeah, I can't wait for Tuesday. Plus, Tuesday brings GG night. YAY!

In other news, I just got done making a coffee cake for Easter tomorrow. It's my contribution to the meal. Anyway, it's a new recipe. And the cake part turned out beautifully. But the syrup I was supposed to brush on it and then pour over it. Yeah, not so much. That syrup ended up turning into a caramel like substance. Luckily, it still tastes good. So I drizzled a bit over the cake. And then the roomie and I made candy out of the rest of it. Here's hoping the cake isn't terribly disgusting when we eat it tomorrow.

One of my favorite things is witnessing other people's drunken activities. I have made it a hobby of mine. So, make sure not to get too wasted so you can write an entire entry of `Funny Things the Drunk People Did.`

Tuesdays are glorious, especially when you get to sleep in. Sleeping in is always glorious!

Coffee cake is also glorious. I'm actually quite tired right now (and may have had a drink or two this evening), which explains the lack of thought that seems to be put into this comment. However, there's actually a lot of thought in this comment. You just can't tell. This is me thinking hard. Sad, no?

And your icon is from Gnome, correct? If not, then I drank more than I thought. My eyelids are getting heavy. My mom is making pie in the morning. (I don't understand how I got to pie, either. I've still got coffee cake on the brain, I think.)

And yes, the icon is from Gnome. shannigansx and I seem to be very behind the times. We just stumbled upon the film a couple months ago and watched it. And then she immediately had to icon it. She's kind enough to let me use her lovely icons.

Bring a notebook around with you when you go to potential drunken parties. People will say the greatest things when they're drunk. You probably know that.

I'm glad the coffee cake was yummy. I'm a huge fan of coffee cake. My mom's pie was delightful. It had oreo. Like, lots of oreo. Now I'm beyond full and eating jelly beans.

Yeah, I don't even remember when I watched Gnome. I just remember that since my internet connection is dial-up, it took me almost 2 hours to watch it. It would show me 5 seconds, then start buffering. Somehow, I still managed to enjoy it. And it's lovely that you have someone to steal [borrow] icons from. Those people are the best.

And because of you, I've adopted the word `Glorious.` I plan to give it a good home.
