Yesterday was my dad's birthday, and I forgot to call him! When did I become such a bad daughter? I used to be so good at remembering these things...
Oh well, at least he got the card in time. And I called him this morning. Other than him giving me a hard time about forgetting his birthday, he seemed to be in a chipper mood. Which is unusual. He usually hates celebrating his birthdays.
ETA: Two of my coworkers who are on vacation in Hawaii for two weeks just called me from the beach in Waikiki. I could hear the ocean in the background. *sigh* I think I hate them.
