The Outlook For This Winter Is Bad, In More Ways Than One

It is so freakin' cold outside, I hate it. It's the kind of cold that has any exposed part of my skin stinging badly within 30 seconds. It's just not right to have single digit temperatures, and wind chills well below zero. It's downright evil. And with the ridiculously cold temperatures and several snow storms we've already had when it's only early December, well, I just have a feeling this winter is going to be a bad one. Gah, no!


And if that's not bad enough, the two weeks I was supposed to have in the office to get caught up on everything? Yeah, I should have known that was too good to be true. We had another person quit today. He was supposed to be working on the Boys Town audit, which started this week. Well, I got a call from the manager on Boys Town today. Looks like I'll be working on that for the next two weeks. So who knows when I'll get all the other crap I need to do done. Guess I'll finish it in my spare time (you know, when I'm not working the mandatory 55+ hours that are required January - March). So yeah, my stress level has once again shot through the roof. We're so short on people at work, those of us that aren't smart enough to quit are about to get incredibly swamped. So, yeah, looking forward to all that too.

ETA: For all you GG fans on my f-list - according to AA, Scott Patterson finally signed on for S7 of Gilmore Girls. I've been waiting for this confirmation for months now. So, I cannot tell you how greatly this improves my mood. It sure doesn't take much.

Thanks, hon! I'm sure that eventually it will all work out...or at least get done. But I don't kid myself that it will in anyway be fun.

Anyhoo, sorry for nothing but complaining in my posts lately. You have no idea how much a help you are already in bringing some fun and enjoyment to my life.

Pretty close. Gah! I didn't know the cold could make my fingers hurt like that! But they look really pretty. I'm thinking we keep them up til spring. :)
