You are one of the most recent additions to my f-list, and I love having you here! You are friendly and very fun. Random note, but you always use 'lol' a lot in your posts and comments, and I love that. As a person who likes to laugh myself, I appreciate your good sense of humor. I also appreciate that although you know every single spoiler out there, you are incredibly considerate to those who are spoiler free and offer teeny bits of info when we spoiler-deprived folk need it. ;-) And well, you are an excellent analyzer and discusser of all things Gilmore, and that makes you an incredibly good person to know in my book.

First off, you're French. As I love France and all things French, I think that you're awesome merely because you're French. (I was a French minor in college, and if I hadn't lost a lot of my French skills in the past three years, I would try to write this comment in French. Sadly, I'm very bad at writing in French these days, although I do pretty well with reading it.) To add to that, I'm very impressed with your English skills, and your desire to watch movies and read books in English to better learn the language. I enjoy your movie and book reviews - I'm very impressed by how much you manag to read. All around, you seem very friendly and very inviting. I still love your idea of swapping things in the mail. I need to decide what to send you, and what I would like to receive!
Also randomly, I knew of you long before you had an LJ or I was on your f-list. Shannon used to talk to me a lot about her French penpal. She was so excited when she found out you were reading her LJ, and then when you guys started e-mailing and sending stuff back and forth. I thought it all sounded very cool and very fun.

Je suis contente que tu apprécies mes comptes-rendus de livres et de films! C'est vrai que j'essaie de lire le plus possible, étant donné qu'à l'université, nous n'avons droit qu'à un tout petit panorama littéraire^^ J'adore la littérature américaine et anglaise et on ne l'étudie jamais...
En ce qui concerne les paquets qu'on s'enverra, n'hésite pas à me dire ce que tu aimerais recevoir. Comme je l'ai posté dans mon livejournal, tu peux avoir des idées en allant sur le site amazon.fr :)

Oh, Dan-Ny Dan, let me express the ways in which I love thee. I just liked you from the first comment I received from you, and six months later, you are someone I consider a really good friend. You are so much fun. You are creative and hysterical, and you put a lot of who you are out there, and I really admire that. I want to be like that. I know this isn't supposed to be about me, but one of the things I love most about you is who I am when I'm talking with you. I swear I become funny and creative and everything I'm not when I'm not talking to you. So thank you. I just feel so glad that I can feel so free to let this side of me out that few others see when I'm talking to you.
Plus, I love your all-out, no holds barred love for GG and LG. I know you were so worried that I'd think you some kind of freak on Monday night, but truthfully I loved that conversation. I loved that you defended Lauren Graham like that. I loved that you were so concerned about our differing opinions on Lorelai Gilmore. I loved it. I love you. And, ummmm, who else would talk to me on the phone for six hours while we watched Gilmore Girls episodes. So much fun!

You are so passionate about the things you love, and I think that is fantastic. Obviously, I see it most with TV and music on your LJ, but I'm sure that extends into all areas of your life. You are a creative person. I love what I have read of your fic and what I have seen of your icons. Plus, picspam! Picspam is awesome. I appreciate that you have been so honest about your depression and been so receptive to the advice you have received from your f-list. Also, I kind of love that I share a Christian faith with you. In this world, we need all the support we can get, so thank you for the encouragement you have been to me and others.
Also, you love Farscape and that is all kinds of awesome. I love your comments on Farscape. I love your picspam. I love your icons. I just love you for loving Farscape and talking about it with me. I watched Terra Firma this morning. That is one of my favorite episodes. *sigh* Yeah, you just get the Farscape love, and that is a beautiful thing.

I admire your ability to fix things about your life that you don't like. Take the past six months or so, for instance. You got a new job that you actually like and that is giving you good experience in what you want to do with your life. You decided you needed to live on your own again, and despite several setbacks in the apartment search, you perservered and found a place you seem to like. You're living on your own now! You're 25, and you're living an impressive adult life. Plus, you're not afraid to admit it when you're not happy with how you're acting, and you work to change it. I'm very, very impressed by these qualities in you.
As if that wasn't enough, you are fun; you are a great storyteller - I always love how you pause in the middle of a story to give a random observation; you write a column for your newspaper (!!!!) that I happen to love to read - I've read them all; and you love TV, which in my mind makes you very cool. Oh, and hey, we've talked on the phone about the Girls. I don't think I'll ever forget that. I had fun, and I was very impressed at our ability to chat for an hour late one night when we had never actually chatted outside the online world before.
So, feel better. Work sucks, but you way are cool. You can handle it. I have faith!

I will always be glad for the day I found your LJ and commented. You're one of my best friends, and I really appreciate that you share my oddest passions. You love TV. You love all things French. You write amazing fanfiction, and you are kind enough to let me help you. You have excellent taste in music. You make beautiful icons, wallpapers, and banners. You reintroduced me to Farscape. You are a generous person. You help out those you love in any way you can. You are incredibly intelligent. You're hard working. Clearly, I could go on and on.
