Saturdays...

...are my favorite kind of days. And today has been the perfect kind of Saturday, if I do say so myself. I slept in until 10 am, and it was glorious. And because the weather has been beautiful here over the past couple of days, I've been sleeping with my window open. So I woke to a bright, blue sky and a nice, cool breeze blowing on me. That's pretty much the best way I can think of to start my day.

Once I got up, I drank a couple cups of coffee and lazed around reading fanfiction. Then I went to lunch with enigmaticblues and a coworker at what is in my opinion the best Mexican restaurant of all time. Then it was off to a new winery, Prime Country Winery, in Denton, NE. The drive there was so pretty. Call me crazy, but there's really no sight I love more than the rolling fields of Nebraska. It just signifies home to me, I guess. And the wine at the winery was good. The fact that I bought three (not so inexpensive) bottles of wine is rather indicative of that. Plus, the service was so personable and nice. Plus, free wine tasting (which is pretty much unheard of around here), and we got to try every wine on the list.

Now I'm back home, and I've been sitting in my living room with my laptop reading more fanfiction, a relaxing breeze blowing on me through the open sliding glass door. And the Gilmore Girls fanfiction I've been reading today...really top-notch stuff. There's just nothing better.

So I'm in a wonderful mood.

Aww, sounds nice! I wish I had something to do. I'm home alone and all my friends work.

It's made from frozen grapes and it is sweet and yummy. That's all I know! I had some when I was in Heidelburg two years ago. I'm no wine connoisseur, especially since, heh, I'm not legal yet, but I've sampled the different kinds. Ice wine was my favorite :)

And the Numfar Dance of Joy icon is awesome, roniaburk made it. I cracked up when I heard that it was Joss playing Numfar! Didn't he play something else on one of the shows? *is confused*

Well, I just looked Joss up on imdb.com and it says he was the voice of the News Caster in I Robot, You Jane. Man, just thinking of that episode makes me shudder. And he was apparently in an episode of Firefly. Now I'm really going to have to look for him as enigmaticblues and I watch my DVDs.

Oh, but this is interesting. Have you even heard of this movie?
