tonight there was superchick

enigmaticblues and I just got back from a Superchick concert. Honest to God, the best concert I have ever been to. There was clapping, shouting, jumping, hand raising and waving. Man, it was a good time. Those girls rock! Seriously rock.

For those of you who have never heard of them before, they are a girl rock/punk band, but they also have a couple of beautiful ballads. Plus, they are all about girl power, and some of their songs get me all pumped up to go out and take on the world. I highly recommend their Beauty from Pain album. I've had it for a couple months now, and every time I take it out of the cd player in my car, it soon finds it's way back in. I can't get enough. And it's even better live. Those girls (and guys - yes, there are guys in the band) know how to put on a good show.

I think I might upload some of their songs tomorrow, if anyone's interested. I want to share the Superchick love.

Now...to get my adrenaline calmed down so I can go to sleep. I hate losing an hour. And I have to be to church in eight hours.
