Why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself? Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name on my friends' list I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...s/he wears mismatched socks." I'd love it if every single person who friended me/reads this would do this. (Yes, even you people who I know really well.) Then post this in your own journal.

Hmm... what haven't I told you already?

I like wearing flip-flops and sandals more than actual shoes. All winter I eagerly await warmer weather so I can wear them.

My favorite wild animal is the giraffe, for the following reasons:

When they run, they look like they're going to fall over, but they don't.

They have really long eyelashes.

They have black tongues.

They have multiple stomachs.


Clearly, they rule.

Oh, you're going to rue the day you decided to post this (which, incidentally, happens to be today). Why? Well, because I'm so self-centered and enjoy talking about myself in full detail, starting with my birth. I don't remember much about it. My mom was there. Oh, okay, I'll fast forward and just list the most important:

1. I like to lock my door, turn out the lights, blast some fast-paced music (currently Dresden Dolls because I hold so much love for them), and dance like a complete moron. Unfortunately, when my mom realizes that the door is locked, she probably assumes that something dirty is going on.

2. I went to Ozzfest. Once. I brought a book and read in the middle of a mass mosh pit. It was the most frightening thing.

3. I'm deathly afraid of ceiling fans. I do, in fact, believe that I will meet my fate at the hands (or turny things) of a ceiling fan. What do you call those things? You don't even understand what I'm trying to say.

4. I'm self-centered and self-conscious. I think they go hand in hand.

5. When I get mad, I laugh. This makes the situation harder because the person who I'm mad at doesn't think I'm mad because I'm rolling around on the floor, barely breathing. I am bad at expressing emotion.

6. I share far too much information with my LJ friends.

7. I ramble a lot. A lot lot. A lot lot lot.

8. I like to repeat words for emphasis.

9. I fear that most people find me beyond annoying. Sometimes I delete entries for that very reason.

10. I am addicted to Diet Coke. It's beautiful.

11. I'm kind of stealing this one from you, but I am in love with Luke? And Lorelai. And I'm in love with Luke and Lorelai. I like watching my old GG DVD's and smiling. It makes me feel fuzzy. And I hate when people spell "Lorelai" like "Lorelei." I hate that that's the way Microsoft Word recognizes it. I hate ... that I'm so insanely picky.

12. I can't end lists on odd numbers.

Aww, apparently I didn't focus on the part that said "Share a little something about yourself." You have every reason to unfriend me. Please don't, though.
