Pointless Thoughts

So, I thought that maybe if I watched Live and Let Diorama again I might like it better the second time around. In actuality, I hated it even more. It's hard for me to say I hate a GG episode. But it's true. I *hate* that episode. I guess I should be thankful that it's the only episode I actually hate. In fact, it's really the only episode that I even remotely dislike.

But not only is it out-of-character writing, it's the beginning of all these storylines that I feel come out of nowhere and never get any resolution. Boo for Live and Let Diorama and Daniel Palladino's sudden and rather suprising lack of writing skill (considering all the really wonderful episodes he's written). But I guess it's better than no GG at all.

Oh well, I will just make myself think happy thoughts about the premiere.

I don't like the episode either. There's a few scenes I like, but that's all. It was a setup episode, but it could have been handled much better.

I know exactly how the episode could have been better! Luke and Lorelai making out for like ten minutes of it. I'm shallow, but hey, it would have been awesome!

LOL! Oh, yes it's shallow. But just you saying that has given me a good laugh. Hehe! I needed that. LALD really ticked me off.

Oh, by the by, I'm on AIM for the first time in forever tonight (I finally downloaded it on my laptop because I've gotten over the fear of being "found out" by my employer). I'm just saying. They didn't even kiss once in the whole episode. I feel cheated. One kiss would have raised LALD a little bit in my book.
