Tonight I went to the Omaha chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants' public relations dinner. It was fairly boring, but the food was good, as was the company. ASWA uses this dinner to raise money for their scholarship fund, so there was a raffle. I participated in the raffle and ended up winning a basket of baked goods from the Great Harvest Bread Co. The basket includes a loaf of their Old Fashioned White, a loaf of their Honey Whole Wheat, and a bag of some delicious-looking cookies that are made with whole grains. I cannot wait to dig into this basket - in moderation, of course. I am on a diet, after all.
The fun doesn't stop there, ladies and gents. Oh no. In addition to the goodies in the basket, I also have a certificate for 13 free loaves of bread. 13 free loaves of bread?! Oh, the joys. I'm looking at their daily breads for the month of November, and they sound delicious. Cranberry orange. Cherry walnut. Cinnamon raisin. Tomato herb. Sunflower. Country french. The list goes on and on.
Yummmmmmmm, bread. I love you.
