First off, you're French. As I love France and all things French, I think that you're awesome merely because you're French. (I was a French minor in college, and if I hadn't lost a lot of my French skills in the past three years, I would try to write this comment in French. Sadly, I'm very bad at writing in French these days, although I do pretty well with reading it.) To add to that, I'm very impressed with your English skills, and your desire to watch movies and read books in English to better learn the language. I enjoy your movie and book reviews - I'm very impressed by how much you manag to read. All around, you seem very friendly and very inviting. I still love your idea of swapping things in the mail. I need to decide what to send you, and what I would like to receive!
Also randomly, I knew of you long before you had an LJ or I was on your f-list. Shannon used to talk to me a lot about her French penpal. She was so excited when she found out you were reading her LJ, and then when you guys started e-mailing and sending stuff back and forth. I thought it all sounded very cool and very fun.
